Follow Friday #4

NOW FOR THE FOLLOW FUN!

This weeks question is:
Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.

Unfortunately I don't really have anyone to discuss books with IRL =[ that's mainly the reason why I started my blog in the first place, to be able to discuss books with people that are interested in YA lit. I mean I can talk to my Mum and Dad about the books, but my dad's more into classics that YA lol. My Mum actually does like YA and has been reading some of my books, so she will sit there and listen to me ramble on and on about a book. She does also want to read the books after I've gone on about them for ages, so that's a plus =].

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host { Parajunkee.com} and any one else you want to follow on the list
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers - http://romance-around-the-corner.blogspot.com/
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  7. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

HAPPY FOLLOW FRIDAY!

  1. Hello there! I just started following your blog, please hop on over to follow me back when you have some time. I really like the design of your blog too, so cute! :)

I don't have many people to discuss books with either and none IRL that really like the same kinds of books I do anyway. It's nice you can talk to your parents about them even if they don't like the same stuff though. (^_^) Anyway, ttyl and have a great weekend!

  2. I'm glad your mom will talk to (listen to) you about books and will read a book after you've talked about one for long enough. :)

I'm also glad you started your blog because I really enjoy it. Seriously, your layout is my favorite!

  3. That's why I started a blog as well! Although I do chat with a few other friends online at a discussion board as well about books all the time. And after years I finally got one of my BFFs into UF! About time too! Now I just got to wait for her to catch up in the series I recommended! :)

  4. Hopping through. My family likes to read too, but they're not as into YA. So I don't have people to really talk to.

  7. Haha I would never talk to my dad about the books I read! Too awkward. Same with my mom. They say I read too much. XD

    Happy Reading! :)

  8. It's one of the reasons I started my blog. The blogging is so supportive and now you tons of people to discuss books with. Especially since you read YA lit.
